As a premier retail destination in Dubai Hills Estate, this commercial mall required an expansive natural lighting solution for its main central atrium. Luminex Star Technical Services L.L.C executed the engineering, fabrication, and installation of a massive structural glass skylight dome utilizing stainless steel spider fittings and custom tension rod framing.

Key Technical Works Delivered

Our structural glazing specialists executed large-span overhead glazing engineered for safety, thermal efficiency, and dramatic architectural impact:

  • Large-Span Structural Skylight: Engineered and erected a multi-section dome skylight spanning over 40 meters, bringing abundant natural sunlight into the central shopping concourse.
  • Spider Glass Fittings & Tension Rods: Employed heavy-duty 316-grade stainless steel spider fittings and tension rod assemblies to create a lightweight, highly durable floating glass aesthetic.
  • Solar Control Laminated Safety Glass: Utilized specialized heat-strengthened laminated double glazing with UV and infrared filtering to prevent greenhouse overheating in indoor retail areas.
  • Airtight Weather & Condensation Sealing: Executed multi-layer EPDM gaskets and structural silicone sealing with integrated condensation drainage channels for zero-leak reliability.
