Project Overview

The Business Bay Sky Tower is a landmark multi-story residential and commercial development in the heart of Dubai's business district. Luminex Star Technical Services L.L.C was contracted to execute the comprehensive high-rise exterior curtain wall glazing and structural glass balcony installations across more than 35 floors.

Key Technical Works Delivered

Executing facade installation on a skyscraper requires advanced engineering, rigorous safety protocols, and superior weatherproofing technology:

• Continuous High-Rise Curtain Wall: Installed high-performance thermal-insulating double glazed units designed to withstand extreme wind loads, intense solar radiation, and external noise.
• Panoramic Glass Balcony Balustrades: Fabricated and fitted over 2,500 linear meters of frameless laminated safety glass railings, providing residents with unobstructed skyline views.
• Aluminium Cladding & Spandrel Panels: Integrated fire-rated aluminium composite panels (ACP) between floor slabs for sleek architectural continuity and weather protection.
• Heavy-Duty Sliding Door Systems: Supplied and installed automated and manual acoustic sliding balcony door systems engineered for effortless operation and airtight sealing.

Completed in April 2026, the Business Bay Sky Tower showcases Luminex Star's robust capability in managing large-scale high-rise facade constructions.
